Michael T. Luna                      

President & Chief Executive Officer

Mike purchased Texas Wilson in June 2007, where he immediately made a positive impact on the company as the new President and CEO.  Mike leads the business operation and brings extensive entrepreneurial and operational experience, which allows for a unique perspective on problem-solving and creating value for the customer.

Prior to joining Texas Wilson, Mike founded The CAPROCK Group to provide Project Management and Real Estate Services within the Corporate Interior segment in Houston, Texas.  Mike also spent 16 years as the Director of Facilities and Real Estate for a Fortune 500 Company with responsibilities covering the Southwest Region of the US.

Mike is a member of The San Antonio Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), The San Antonio Economic Development Foundation, The North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Board Member-Make a Wish Foundation.

Tammy L. Poe

Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Design

Tammy has been with Texas Wilson since 1994 and has previous 7 years of experience in the office furniture industry and general office design. Tammy is the Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Design. She has overall responsibility for the company’s sales, marketing, and design functions. She is also NCIDQ certified and is a professional member of IIDA. Prior to becoming Vice President in 1998, Tammy served Texas Wilson and other office furniture and design companies in various designer roles. Tammy’s in-depth experience and knowledge gained from hands-on experience well qualifies her to lead Texas Wilson’s sales and design organization.

Under the direction of Tammy, the company’s sales organization has achieved continued growth. Tammy’s key strengths lie in her extensive knowledge of the office environment and how it affects the productivity of employees and organizations, her ability to communicate these issues to customers, her attention to detail in the design process, and her ability to motivate employees to achieve total customer satisfaction. Through Tammy’s fastidious nature and dedication to her craft, the skills of many other employees have improved dramatically, thus indirectly benefiting our customers.

Tammy received her BFA of Interior Design from North Texas State University.



John Walvoord

Vice President of Finance and Operations

Since 2002, John Walvoord has contributed to the financial oversight of Texas Wilson.  His expertise has been sought by other Steelcase dealers and he has been invited to speak on job costing and collection procedures at their best-practice conferences.  John manages Texas Wilson’s customer and vendor contracts and agreements, including their GSA contracts.

A graduate of Texas A&M University at College Station, Texas with a B.B.A. in Accounting, John has previously worked in the consulting and advertising industries as a Controller.  He has experience with many industries and accounting information systems.  Currently, he is the Board Chair for the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES).

John has led a number of initiatives for Texas Wilson, including a project job-costing procedure.  He has also initiated a more accurate cost-estimating process to empower project managers to set and achieve installation goals.  John has been known to wear an installation uniform and pitch in when big projects require full team participation.

Georgia Cantu

Vice President of Human Resources and Internal Operations

Georgia joined Texas Wilson in early 2010 as an HR Specialist with responsibilities focused on the organization’s Human Resource objectives. Her role evolved into the Director of Human Resources focusing her attention on recruiting efforts, employee relations, organizational development, policies and procedures, and benefit programs. She is Texas Wilson’s Field Security Officer and maintains company federal security clearances, she leads the organization’s internal and external technology initiatives and manages our Customer Sales Support Team. In 2018 Georgia was named Vice President of Human Resources and Internal Operations. Her passion for people and influential personality helps her to positively impact the growth of the organization. She supports Texas Wilson on all significant initiatives while striving to foster a workplace that enables all employees to contribute to the company at their fullest potential.

Georgia graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences. She was a student in the 2013 North San Antonio Chamber Leadership Lab program and went on to serve as Secretary on the 2014 -2015 Leadership Alumni Board. Georgia is an active member of the community and has been a volunteer for the San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo since 2009, becoming a Life Member in 2011.

Elise Johns

Operations Manager

Elise joined the Texas Wilson team in 2011 as our Operations Manager.  A veteran of the contract furniture industry, Elise has worked in a variety of positions since her start in 1992. Her years of experience in the operations teams of large and small dealerships have provided her with the knowledge and skill to orchestrate every aspect of the department at Texas Wilson effectively and efficiently. After obtaining her Recognition of Achievement for Project Management through Steelcase in 1998, Elise managed many large scale projects including the 2,000 plus workstations job for MasterCard’s campus in O’Fallon, Missouri.

Communication, attention to detail and organization are the strengths that allow her to meet the customer’s timelines, budgets and routinely exceed their expectations.  Elise’s management responsibilities include our installation personnel, warehouse group, service shops, technicians and project management teams.

Kim Kolowicz

Design Manager

Kim entered the Contract furnishings world in 1989 and has now had over 25 years experience as a designer, space planner, and specifier.  She is fluent in various types and brands of contract and systems furnishings.  She has been on the Texas Wilson team since April of 2006 after moving from the Philadelphia area.  For most of her career, Kim has worked on teams that focused on supporting large companies in managing their space planning and furniture needs.  She prides herself on attention to detail, as well as, working together with her clients to ensure smooth and successful projects. In 2016, Kim was promoted to Design Manager where she will leverage her industry experience to lead our design team by mentoring and growing our designers and team capabilities. Some of her clients present and past, include AT&T, Frost Bank, Lewis Energy, Rackspace, The CST Brands, and Tesoro.

Kim graduated from El Centro College in Dallas, with a degree in Interior Design.  She is also a licensed Interior Designer in the state of Texas and an Industry member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association).

Personal Statement: “It’s important to listen to the needs of my clients and interpret that information into a design that is functional and enjoyable for them to live and work in.”



Jayne White

Business Development Resource Manager

Jayne White joined the Texas Wilson team in 1996 as an integrated team member working on the site of a major corporate client. Her job included streamlining day-to-day activities, managing their 100,000 sq. ft. of client-owned assets located at Texas Wilson Wilson, managing inventory, stock replenishment, and supporting asset utilization projects.  In 2003, Jayne returned to home office and was promoted to Customer Sales Support Manager where she worked with her team to support every aspect of our order management process.
Recently, Jayne is spearheading an initiative to increase new business sales. Jayne will be leveraging her wealth of industry knowledge and management strengths as a resource to the business development team to improve the customer’s experience, coach newer team members, ensure accuracy, minimize revenue loss and create efficiencies during the quotation and order development phases, thus allowing the sales team to focus on customers.
