This software can accommodate whatever freestanding or systems furniture a client utilizes. Texas Wilson maintains Knoll, Herman Miller, Haworth, Harden, Geiger, HON, Allsteel, and Steelcase assets for multiple customers.
The concept of asset management is the utilization of existing assets when reconfiguring a client's space. All furniture needs are first satisfied from existing inventory kept at the Texas Wilson facility OR at the client’s site and then ordered if inventory is not available.
All products are stored in racking specifically purchased to handle furniture assets. Each rack has adjustable crossbeams giving Texas Wilson the flexibility to accommodate assets of varying heights. Each location is 12’ W x 4’ D and the customer is charged only for the total square feet (footprint) of product in storage, regardless of height, on the first working day of the month. Keeping the customer in mind first, stacking within the rack locations is done when it is safe for the product and the warehouse technicians working around that product. This densification of stored product saves the client money and better utilizes the space available at Texas Wilson.
